The Club during the 1920s
One of the main drivers of the club in those early years was Josep Maria Armangué, multifaceted sportswoman and pioneer of motor sports in Catalonia. He died prematurely in an air accident in Prat de Llobregat in 1917, his brother Frederic (Frick) continued the task of promoting these sports as an active member of the RMCC, the RACC and the Penya Rhin.  In tribute to Josep Maria, the RMCC and the Penya Rhin established in 1921 the Armangué Trophy for autocicles
