The career of the graphic artist and painter Martin Peikert started in the early 20's. His posters, greatly influenced by Art Deco, have a unique and memorable style, which still remains in Swiss “collective  unconscious”. In the 40's, Martin Peikert lived in French-speaking Switzerland, where he created several tourism posters in his fresh, youthful style for the Valais and the Bernese Oberland. Lithograph poster promoting Pontresina, a municipality in the canton of Graubünden. Printed by Muller J.C., linen backed, A condition. Dimensions in inches: 40.1 x 25.2''.
